Botox for Neck
What is botox for neck?
Botox for neck is applied to overactive neck muscles. Superficial neck muscles called plastisma muscles can be overactive and apparent in some people. As this muscle is extending from collarbone to edge of the mouth, it causes vertical lines on the neck as it is very active. Also, it pulls edge of the mouth downwards and disorders jaw contour.
Botox to be applied this muscle loosen the overactive muscle and corrects this problem. It prevents lines by straightening the neck and corrects jaw contour.
This procedure is also called “Nefertiti lift” , named after Egyptian queen who was known to be very long.
The procedure takes approximately 15 minutes and the patient can return to daily life right after the procedure.
