Jowls Treatment

Jowls area causes the person to look older even at early ages. Loosening of the muscles in this area and sagging of the skin disorders the sharp angle between jaw and neck.

Aim of the procedure is to regain the angle and increase the sharpness. The evaluation to be performed before the operation guides the person about the procedure.

In mild and moderate sagging, liposuction is carried out while in advanced cases, plastismaplasty is preferred.

The operation takes 60-90 min. depending on the method. It is more suitable to carry out it under general anesthesia, however, local anesthesia can be preferred n mild cases.

After the operation, special tapes covering the area are used. The patient can return to social life within 4-7 days.
